As a SwissIX reseller, NorthC integrates peering connectivity into its connectivity portfolio and enables its customers easy access to the SwissIX ecosystem across NorthC’s interconnected data center locations.
The reseller model is designed to lower the barrier to entry for peering while maintaining SwissIX’s established principles of neutrality, transparency, and equal treatment.
Simplified access to a broad peering ecosystem
Through NorthC, customers can connect to the SwissIX ecosystem, which comprises more than 240 connected networks, including Internet Service Providers, Content Delivery Networks, and content and cloud providers.
This allows for direct traffic exchange and complements traditional IP transit services.
The reseller approach is particularly well suited for existing NorthC customers that are new to peering and prefer an integrated solution from a single provider.
Clear roles and flexibility
In this setup, NorthC acts as the reseller and access provider, supporting customers on their path into peering. SwissIX continues to operate as an independent and neutral Internet Exchange, providing the underlying platform and ecosystem.
This model offers flexibility and choice: organisations may start peering via NorthC and adapt or expand their connectivity approach over time as their technical or business requirements evolve.
