It was a wonderful evening!

At our first SwissIX “Route 26” event on February 26, 2026, more than 40 friends and interested people gathered to expand their knowledge, exchange expertise, and network in a relaxed atmosphere over an aperitif and a variety of drinks.

Another major highlight was the guided tours of the outstanding ENTER Museum, which houses more than 30,000 exhibits from all areas of technology.

Despite a larger-than-life Trojan horse made of electronic components right next to the lecture stage, there were no security incidents 😉

  • Many thanks to all participants for the excellent discussions!
  • A big thank you to Wolfgang Tremmel from DE-CIX for his in-depth keynote speech on BGP!
  • Many thanks to the Nokia team consisting of Andreas Rüegg, Christian Zloebl, Gerard Speelman, and Alin Craciunescu for the exciting presentation on ContainerLab!
  • A huge thank you to Nokia for sponsoring the drinks!
  • Our thanks go to the team at the ENTER Museum for the excellent location and generous hospitality!

We have already received numerous feedback forms. Our first lesson learned:

We will allow more time for networking at future SwissIX events. There is clearly a great demand for personal exchange within the peering community.

Peering not only connects networks, but also people – and that is also what SwissIX is here for.
